North Somerset Cricket League

Welcome...

To the home page of the Surridge North Somerset Cricket Conferences.

THE NEWS HEADLINES ARE NOW BACK ON THE HOME PAGE!

The Organisation was formed in 1969 and in 2007 took the major decision to form separate Saturday Conferences and Sunday Conferences, having until that year been a Weekend Cricket League. The Conferences operates under the motto of 'TWO WORLDS ONE FAMILY'

This site was officially launched on Thursday 3rd April 2003 and has proved a popular source of information to League Clubs and players throughout the following seasons.

The Schedules for this Summer ( the site will be updated AT LEAST ONCE A DAY) are

1. Saturday Night Red Hot News- read all the early news as the scores come in- the Home Side is required to ring in the score to the Conference Administrator Malcolm Buck on 07763 184078

2. Sunday Night Red Hot News- read all the early news as the scores come in- the Home Side is required to ring in the scores to the Conference Administrator Malcolm Buck on 07763 184078

3. The Saturday Conference Review- this will be a more detailed review of each game and will be periodically updated from Sunday Lunchtime to Monday Night. This will replace the Saturday Night Red Hot News. The latest addition to the Review will appear in bold and the time of the latest review shown at the top of the article.

4.The Sunday Conference Review - this will be a more detailed review of each game and will be periodically updated from the Monday Morning through to Wednesday Lunch. The latest addition to the Review will appear in bold and the time of the latest review shown at the top of the article

5.Grounds For Review- this will continue to run throughtout the Schedules on no particular day profiling a particular club ground

6.'The Ebor and Bias' Club and Player of the Week from each of the Conferences will be announced every Tuesday Lunch Time from a Pub somewhere in England. Our Yorkshire Friends Richard Ebor and Ted Bias are in now back in fine fettle following the distress which they suffered watching England in India and the West Indies last winter

7.'When Two Tribes Compete'is the weekend preview for each game in each of the Conferences with a guest pundit joining us each week to give us his or her prediction.

8. "The Summer in Stats "- we look at the best and (worst!) achievements each week in a brief summary.

9. The Friday Follow On- This is the 'a catch all' news round up which continues the whole year round

10. 'That was the Weekend That was'- we look back every Saturday Morning on what happened on this weekend in years gone by
